Dog fashion is all about attitude! Just look at adolescents these days, they inspire the world of fashion, yes people, even dog fashion. At the mall, aka teen headquarters, what do you see? Glitz, glam, confidence and individuality. You will see the same thing at the dog park, provided the dogs are hip, of course. It may not be exact, but a correlation will be evident.

Many dog shirts are meant for male dogs and female dogs, large and tiny. Most t-shirts are black, but hot pink, baby pink and red are also popular colors. A single oxymoron like killer is amusing on a small dog as a phrase like, Lil Princess is for a very large dog. Looking for a date? Let your dog express your attitude by outfitting him in a t-shirt that says, My Owner is Single. You might want to dress him in a t-shirt with a motto showing his personality like I Beg for Treats, after all, what dog does not? If it is something cute that you are looking for, what about, Im with the Band. No matter what your style or your dogs style, there is something out there for everyone.

When looking for dog clothes, make sure you look at the manufacturers size chart, and check that it is machine washable. If it is a charm or collar you are shopping for, also pay attention to construction. Charms and collars can be matched to t-shirts by color and style. They can also be stylistically aligned to your own clothing.

The awesome thing about dog tee shirts is that they can be worn all the time. The most unique dog sports t-shirts with nail heads, crystals, and bold expressions. My favorite group of sayings is, YOU fetch, YOU sit, YOU stay, YOU come. Naturally, you will not see teens wearing the exact clever phrases, but you will find likeness in style. Another current favorite is the ever popular skull and crossbone dog shirt. You will definitely see this fashion in the stores at the mall as well as the hip pet stores that sell fashion forward dog clothing. Not all dog fashion trends come from teen trends. Some of the trends come directly off of the lavish fashion runways. Faux leopard or suede jackets are a direct example of high fashion influence.

If you do not know what is hot, just look around the mall for ideas. Those teens can provide a lot of inspiration! Fashion shows are a very popular source to find inspiration for doggy fashion. The new trends in the mall and on the runway will surely be hot in the pet fashion industry as well.
